Poden ressenyar-se, entre d&#8217;altres, les seves obres <strong>Lorca al piano<\/strong>, aix\u00ed com la seva composici\u00f3\u00a0<strong>Poemes del exilio<\/strong> sobre textos de Rafael Alberti, interpretats pel cantaor <strong>Miguel Poveda, <\/strong>que va ser guardonat amb el Premi Ciutat de Barcelona 2004 per aquesta obra.<\/p>\n<p>El Gran Teatre del Liceu li va encarregar la composici\u00f3 de l\u2019\u00f2pera\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.obnc.cat\/produccio\/la-cabeza-del-bautista\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>La cabeza del Bautista<\/strong><\/a>, basat en l\u2019obra hom\u00f2nima de Valle-Incl\u00e1n amb qu\u00e8 debuta al coliseu barcelon\u00ed el 20 d\u2019abril de 2009 de la m\u00e0 d\u2019\u00d2pera de Butxaca i Nova Creaci\u00f3 .<\/p>\n<p>Ha compost el ballet simf\u00f2nic\u00a0<strong>Negro Goya<\/strong> (basat en l&#8217;\u00faltima etapa del pintor), enc\u00e0rrec del Ballet Nacional d&#8217;Espanya, amb coreografia de Jos\u00e9 Antonio i estrenat al Festival Internacional de M\u00fasica i Dansa de Granada de 2011. Tamb\u00e9 el 2011 va estrenar la cantata <strong>Beceroles <\/strong>(Alboradas)\u00a0i el seu primer\u00a0<strong>Piano Concerto<\/strong> amb Iv\u00e1n Mart\u00edn com a solista, ambdues obres encarregades per l&#8217;Auditori de Barcelona. El 2013 estrena les cantates <strong>Nunca los dar\u00e9 por muertos<\/strong> i\u00a0<strong>Geograf\u00eda Espriu<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0i un any m\u00e9s tard debuta a Berl\u00edn amb l\u2019\u00f2pera<a href=\"https:\/\/www.obnc.cat\/produccio\/bazaar-cassandra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <strong>Bazaar Cassandra<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>a la Neuk\u00f6llner Oper de Berl\u00edn. El 2015 estrena dos ballets, <strong>Bodas de Sangre<\/strong> i <strong>Las Moiras.<\/strong> Durant 2016\/2017 realitza una col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 espec\u00edfica d&#8217;obres per al quartet Barcelona Clarinet Players: <strong>El Maleficio de la mariposa<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>\u00c9gloga<\/strong> i\u00a0<strong>Epigramas Nazar\u00edes<\/strong>. Despr\u00e9s de l&#8217;estrena del <strong>Concerto for Orchestra,<\/strong> enc\u00e0rrec de la Staatskapelle de Halle (Alemanya), com a obra de tancament de temporada al X\u00e8 aniversari de la seva refundaci\u00f3, va ser nomenat Artist in Residenz, estrenant la temporada 2017\/2018 el ballet <strong>Inferno<\/strong> i el poema coreogr\u00e0fic <strong>Toxiuh Molpilia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El seu debut als Estats Units va tenir lloc amb l&#8217;estrena del <strong>Concierto de Granada<\/strong> per a guitarra i orquestra, amb Sharon Isbin com a solista.
