Raquel ha rebut enc\u00e0rrecs i col\u00b7laborat amb la <strong>Oslo Sinfonietta, Phace Ensemble, l\u2019Ensemble Contemporani de l\u2019Orquestra de Cadaqu\u00e9s, <\/strong>la <strong>Joven Orquesta Nacional de Espa\u00f1a, (JONDE), <\/strong>la <strong>Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Madrid,<\/strong> la <strong>Orquesta Camera Musicae, <\/strong>l&#8217;<strong>Experimental Funktion, CrossingLines Ensemble, Ensemble Sonido Extremo, Cosmos Quartet,<\/strong> <strong>Barcelona Clarinet Players, Barcelona Reed Quintet, BCN216 <\/strong>i el <strong>PluralEnsemble<\/strong>, entre d\u2019altres.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dins del marc de creaci\u00f3 oper\u00edstica, ha treballat a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.obnc.cat\/produccio\/dido-reloaded-go-aeneas-go\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>DIDO Reloaded<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>(2013), produ\u00efda per \u00d2pera de Butxaca i Nova Creaci\u00f3, i ha estat guardonada, gr\u00e0cies al projecte\u00a0<strong><em>Go, \u00c6NEAS, go!<\/em>,<\/strong> amb el <strong>Berliner Opernpreis\u201914<\/strong> de la Neuk\u00f6llner Oper de Berl\u00edn. El 2015, va estrenar\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.obnc.cat\/produccio\/displace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>disPLACE \u2013 Hist\u00f2ria d\u2019una casa<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(llibret d\u2019<strong>Helena Tornero<\/strong> i direcci\u00f3 esc\u00e8nica de<strong> P. Pawlik<\/strong>) al festival vien\u00e8s MusikTheaterTage Wien, \u00f2pera que es va reinterpretar als Teatros del Canal dins de la programaci\u00f3 del Teatro Real de Madrid 2016\/17. A la temporada 2017\/18, compon el monodrama\u00a0<strong><em>Balena blava<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(text de <strong>Victoria Szpunberg<\/strong>) per a actriu, orquestra, cor i electr\u00f2nica que s\u2019estrena al Teatre Nacional de Catalunya sota la direcci\u00f3 esc\u00e8nica de <strong>Xavier Albert\u00ed<\/strong> i direcci\u00f3 musical d\u2019<strong>Edmon Colomer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El 2018, crea l\u2019\u00f2pera bufa\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.obnc.cat\/produccio\/je-suis-narcissiste\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Je suis narcissiste<\/em><\/strong><\/a> juntament amb <strong>Helena Tornero<\/strong> i <strong>Marta Pazos<\/strong>, que s\u2019estrena dins de la programaci\u00f3 general de les temporades 2018\/19 del Teatro Real de Madrid, el Teatro Espa\u00f1ol i el Teatre Lliure. Aquesta \u00f2pera va estar nominada als<strong> International Opera Awards 2020<\/strong> (categoria de World Premiere), als <strong>Premis Max<\/strong> en tres categories i va ser guardonada amb un <strong>Premi Al\u00edcia<\/strong> de l\u2019<strong>Acad\u00e8mia de la M\u00fasica Catalana<\/strong> en la categoria <em>Interdisciplina.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>El maig del 2022, l&#8217;Orquestra Simf\u00f2nica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, <strong>OBC<\/strong>, estrena la seva obra simf\u00f2nic-coral <em><a href=\"https:\/\/editorialmondigromax.com\/ca\/producte\/suite-of-myself-sinfonico-coral-raquel-garcia-tomas\/\"><strong>Suite of Myself.<\/strong><\/a><\/em> Un <strong>enc\u00e0rrec de L\u2019Auditori <\/strong>(Barcelona) amb la premissa que havia de partir de m\u00fasica de Bach. Els passatges que inspiren Raquel s\u00f3n, concretament, de la Passi\u00f3 segons Sant Joan, de la invenci\u00f3 BWV797 i de la sarabanda de la Suite francesa n\u00fam. 2) amb fragments del text llumin\u00f3s, solemne i alliberador de <em>Song of Myself<\/em> (Can\u00e7\u00f3 de mi mateix), de Walt Whitman. La <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/editorialmondigromax.com\/ca\/producte\/suite-of-myself-chamber-version-raquel-garcia-tomas\/\">versi\u00f3 de cambra de <em>Suite of Myself<\/em><\/a><\/strong> es va estrenar al Claustre del Carme del<strong> Festival Castell de Peralada<\/strong> el juliol de 2022.<\/p>\n<p>A la temporada 2022\/23, Raquel estrena <a href=\"https:\/\/editorialmondigromax.com\/ca\/producte\/alexinab-raquel-garcia-tomas\/\"><strong><em>Alexina B.<\/em><\/strong><\/a> al Gran Teatre del Liceu, juntament amb la llibretista<strong> Ir\u00e8ne Gayraud<\/strong> i la directora d&#8217;escena <strong>Marta Pazos<\/strong>. Aquesta \u00f2pera, mereixedora de la <strong>Beca Leonardo de la Fundaci\u00f3 BBVA 2020<\/strong> i nominada als <strong><em>International Opera Awards 2023<\/em><\/strong> a la categoria &#8216;World Premiere&#8217;, ha resultat guanyadora de m\u00faltiples premis, entre ells un <strong><em>Premi Max 2024<\/em> <\/strong>a la categoria &#8216;Millor composici\u00f3 musical per a espectacle esc\u00e8nic&#8217; i un <strong>Premi Al\u00edcia 2024<\/strong> (Acad\u00e8mia Catalana de la M\u00fasica) a la categoria &#8216;Autoria&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Entre els projectes recents destaca l\u2019obra simf\u00f2nica <strong><em>Las constelaciones que m\u00e1s brillan<\/em><\/strong>, estrenada a L\u2019Auditori de Barcelona amb l\u2019OBC, dirigida per Ludovic Morlot, i amb interpretacions posteriors a l\u2019Elbphilharmonie d\u2019Hamburg i al Konserthuset de Stockholm, el quartet de corda <strong><em>\u00e0 plein<\/em>,<\/strong> estrenat pel Quartet Quiroga al Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana i <strong><em>Ara s\u00ed que ets divina<\/em><\/strong>, estrenada per l&#8217;OBC, sota la direcci\u00f3 de Ludovic Morlot, en commemoraci\u00f3 del 25\u00e8 aniversari de L&#8217;Auditori de Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>La temporada 2024\/25, Raquel \u00e9s la compositora resident de la Real Filharmon\u00eda de Galicia. Aix\u00f2 inclou l&#8217;estrena mundial de l&#8217;obra orquestral <strong><em>Ceci n\u2019est pas un valse<\/em><\/strong>, dirigida per Baldur Br\u00f6nnimann. Tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s la compositora convidada al Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana.
