After having been trained at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag in the Netherlands, I have developed a career in which I have collaborated with Slagwerk Den Haag, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, Centro Coreográfico Galego, La Fura dels Baus, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia or the Symphony Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu and I have shared the stage with Pierre Boulez, Michael Nyman, Ainhoa ​​Arteta, Lang Lang, Paquito D’Rivera, Carlos Núñez or Cristina Pato.

My compositions and creations have been programmed and presented at venues and festivals such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Mercat de les Flors, MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art), IVAM (Valencian Institute of Modern Art), Grec Festival (Barcelona), Temporada Alta (Girona), the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, ​​Teatro Circo Price in Madrid or the International Circo Festival in São Paulo.

Darrer missatge (Last message) is the monodrama signed by Mario G. Cortizo-Marc Rosich a piece about a teenage YouTuber who’s getting ready to send her followers a final message before the world comes to an end. It is part of Sis Solos Soles, six monodramas for a female performer and instrumentalist, commissioned to six teams of librettist and composer. Produced by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and Òpera de Butxaca i Nova Creació, it could be seen streaming for a week in November 2019 since the premiere was canceled due to the pandemic. Live premiere on July 12 & 13, 2023, at Ateneu Barcelonès within the frame of GREC Festival de Barcelona.

On July 16, 2025, the four-season musical poem for voice and ensemble, the monologue opera Hort/Garden, premiered in Perelada Festival

. The creation of Elena Tarrats, Mario G. Cortizo, and Damien Bazin (composers) with libretto by Helena Tornero and stage Direction by Silvia Costa, has the special collaboration of the Italian ICARUS ENSEMBLE. Hort/Garden is an ÒBNC production in co-production with the Perelada Festival.
