The Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona) will be the stage for the presentation of the monodrama Per precaució (Just in case) by Raquel García-Tomás, featuring soprano Maria Dolors Aldea and harpist José Antonio Domené.
Per precaució, with a libretto by Victoria Szpunberg, is part of the Òpera de Butxaca i Nova Creació (OBNC) project, Sis Solos Soles, (Six Solos Alones), where six female voices star in six contemporary lyrical creations, taking the audience on a journey from comedy to drama, giving voice to six women trapped in their life circumstances.
In Per precaució, Maria Dolors Aldea portrays an elderly woman fighting against the inevitable and resisting being taken to a nursing home.
